My mom and I purchased an old worn down and dilapidated dollhouse years ago, one that was in need of tender loving care. It was our plan to take it home and restore it to its proper glory to resell it. We never did sell the dollhouse, instead we ended up purchasing another, then another... I have several dollhouses, some of which were played with my my mom's grandchildren over the years.
I sill have every intention of restoring and rebuilding these dollhouses, for my own personal enjoyment. I also have plans to start locating and saving dollhouses that need a bit of tender loving care to be made whole again and resell them for children to adore and enjoy.
This website is dedicated to my mother, Virginia, who shared a love for dolls and dollhouses with me.

Fine Scrollsaw I adore scrollsaw work, and soon after my dad bought me a scrollsaw for my birthday a couple of years ago I discovered a birdcage pattern that Fine Scrollsaw had in their free patterns page. He has many many great patterns both for sale and some older patterns from Hobbies magazine for free. I have included links to the dollhouse patterns he has in his free page in the Forum section.

This site has too much for me to easily explain it, so if you want to build a dollhouse, but are not sure just how to proceed, go here before you invest in those kits that cost hundreds of dollars. She REALLY makes it easy to follow along on building a great multi-level and multi-room dollhouse.

She has a wonderful looking ocotillo cactus that I want to make one of these days in a diorama to commemorate me and my parent's road tripping through Arizona and Nevada enjoying looking at all the various cacti. Also a great tutorial for a desert water bag. She also has a tutorial on grunging up a room for creating a grungy look.
Jim's Dollhouse Pages This is the 1:12 (1 inch) scale page for printables, the site also features 1:6 (playscale), 1:24 (1/2 inch), and 1:48 (1/4 inch) scales. It also has a scale calculator and a guide to what scales to choose. A great resource for printables from halfsize dollhouse scales up to fashion doll scales.
